I'm someone who goes with the flow so roleplaying is better for me but then I enjoy writing stories but by like the 5th Chapter I don't know where to take it next I know right! Or when I finish writing the story, only to start thinking how I should've written it or look back and think, nothing makes any sense. |

Same here. I remember once I re-read the seven chapters I'd written and there were some continuity errors.

I always build a table of characters names and chapters then write the main plot point of each character in the chapter(s) they appear in. It makes little to no continuality errors.

I try to do that,but for some reason I never end up with enough content and it ends up sounding sort of weird.

I think it's a skill that comes with age, like I couldn't do 'table planning' two years ago, but I can now.
