I abruptly noticed an E floating in the sky... it could have stood for lots of things, but I was pretty sure it was coming from Ember or Emerald. Suddenly, Abelina noticed it too and flew out of the tree, leaving me stranded on the top limb of the tree unable to get down, with the blackness still trying to strangle me. In one abrupt move, I span around and jumped out of the tree. My stomach felt like it was rising. I felt nauseous. I saw the ground rising to meet me fast. I shut my eyes and hoped that I wouldn't break my leg or something.
There it was again-that pulling in my chest. I looked down to see the Earth below my rise up and form into a man. He was tall and muscular and looked like a Prince out of a storybook. He was wearing royal clothes, all white. He had a spear poking out of his chest and blood trickling down his shirt but he didn't seem to notice it. He was ghostly white and when he looked up at me he had hollow eyes like Dylluan. He reached up and caught me. He put me safely on the ground and disappeared back into the Earth. I brushed my skirt on my dress down which had somehow puffed up like a tutu and followed the E over to the others.
"Hi!" I greeted them happily. It was so good to have everyone all in one place so I knew that no one was getting hurt. Thy didn't seem all that happy but I decided to let that roll off my back for now. Grumpy pants can be grumpy. Haters can hate. Doesn't mean I have to as well.

"Where's Calamity?" Emerald asked me. "Oh she's just over,-" just then Calamity came up and said "Hi guys!" "Right over here" I said.

I waved to make sure everyone saw me. I mentally counted off in my head that we had everyone. Ember, check, Emerald, Abelina, me, Azure. That was everyone! "So. Does anyone have any plans? Ideas?" I prompted.

One by one, the whole group met up. I can't say I'm disappointed but I can't say I'm 100% glad either. This now means we'll have to proceed with the whole saving world thing again and with our luck, Abelina will be in charge, with Calamity second in charge. There's something about them that I don't like. Perhaps it's because they're way too cheery. Or maybe it's because they act like nothing has happened and the world still lived. But everybody else seems to act like life is going on per normal. The letter told us to rebuild the world but we haven't even made plans for that. But what's the point in building the world again anyway? No one else will live here after we die.
(My character is rather cynical.)

They seemed so overly happy about finding us, about 'saving the world'. Why? This world was useless to all hut us. There was almost no point, it seemed. Oh well. Tentatively, I asked:
"What happened?"

Calamity then appeared. I nodded slowly before turning back to look at the building. I looked closely at it, deep into concentration when Ember began speaking "What hap-" Her voice randomly cut off. Scared I turned around to see everyone frozen. I raised my eyebrow and walked over to Abelina clicking my fingers. No reaction was made. I waved my hand over Azure's face, clapped near Calamity's ear, although I usually wouldn't I even screamed out "HELLO" to try and get their attention, yet no movement at all. I sighed looking up to see that even the clouds had stopped moving when all of a sudden I heard Ember's voice again "pend?"
The clouds began moving again and so did the people I was with. Ok this whole rebuild the world thing is getting more confusing by the minute

I felt some...glitch. That's the only way I could describe the feeling I got halfway through talking. I stared out across the lake in front of us.
"Well, lets carry on."

I felt tension in the air as people looked at me. I hoped people didn't hate me already. That would just be pathetic because I never did anything to hurt them. I barely even said anything to most of them. Sure, I made some dead things rise out of the ground, but compared to what we would have to battle to satisfy M, it's not going to be the weirdest thing they're going to see. I glared down at my feet, feeling slightly annoyed that people were now giving me freakish looks and dagger eyes. Time seemed to stand still for a second. I don't know if that's how I imagined it or if it actually happened. If time did suddenly stop, THAT'S weird. See? Rising dead isn't THAT weird.

I didn't want to be the leader. But yes, it was my idea. I spend my time thinking about the weird time stopping feeling. What could it have been?

Everyone's faces looked confused. And Azure's eyes were on me. I pretended I hadn't noticed "So are we going to the building then?" I asked pulling a small smile. Hopefully that would send them off the scent. I mean time's stopped for me twice, it can't be a coincidence. Can it? What if it's happened for other people. Throughout the conversation with myself I kept the smile, however I don't think they were buying it

Something fishy was going on. Emerald looked seriously suspicious with this completely false smile on her face. She tried to divert our attention back to our mission at hand, so I decided not to ask her anything.

So now here we were, all standing here, with Emerald suggesting we move on. Honestly, that's what I would want to do too. But now a new issue arose. Food. Water, we could get from the lake. But I was sure that we wouldn't last long without a safe source of food...
