As darkness took over, I couldn't explain why sleep wouldn't come. Perhaps it was the excitement. Perhaps it was the nervousness that came with it. Either way, though, I didn't feel tired enough. Already, I felt tired and hungry and was unable to see. Eventually, though, I just laid down and stared at the sky. Tracing a constellation in the sky, I gasped as it lit up. Heart thumping in shock, I looked over to my companion, only to find that I couldn't even see her. Trying again, hoping that it was an illusion, I traced another one. Once again, a glowing shape lit up for a moment. Not perfect, but it was something. Stumbling off in a random direction, I hoped to see something, find out why I could create these glittering outlines before the dawn broke.

I watched my companion trace constellations in the night sky. Suddenly the lines light up and I could hear a small rustle as she turned, probably to face me. Although she might not be able to see my face in the dark I am ecstatic for her. Before long she stood up without a word and stumbled off south. I got up and followed her into the moonlight.

I heard one of the girls say "Save the world together" and I couldn't help but scoff. This is just weird, this whole power thing. It must be a dream, a really elaborate realistic dream. It's possible right? I shook my head. Of course this is a dream. Powers, and rebuilding the world. I mean this is impossible. I just need to find somewhere quiet. Then I can rest, and return back to the real world, to reality.
I began to run, trying to concentrate on waking up when the trees stopped swaying. How did the wind stop like that? Suddenly it began again, as if it stopping was a little blip or glitch. I scratched my head. This is getting confusing even for me.

No one seemed at all excited about saving the world together. From what Calamity could tell, every single one of them was a total introvert, including her. Calamity didn't want to open her mouth again in fear someone else would scoff at her.
Dylluan rested his head against her shoulder to comfort her. Calamity sighed and sat on the ground, twirling her index finger into the dirt. Her finger nail, she noticed, was painted black, with a tiny white skull on it. It looked menacing... just like her power.
Suddenly, just as it had happened with Dylluan, a giant mound of dirt rose up from the ground, this time much larger, and fell away to reveal a very scary looking dead woman. She looked at Calamity with huge, hollow eyes and her mouth dropped open into a silent scream. Subconsciously, Calamity flicked her wrist and the woman dissolved back into dirt and fell into the ground.
Calamity lowered her eyes to the ground, embarrassed, that she couldn't seem to take control of her powers. She just hoped no one had noticed.

I decided to return as weird as this is, maybe having someone with me isn't a bad idea. I trudged my way back to the two girls and their birds. "I'msorryforscoffingthename'semeraldanyotherquestions?" I blurted at once. I bit my lip and sat down on a log.

I looked up into the sky, when a constellation glowed, who did that? Me? No, not possible. At all. "Who did that? " I asked. I flapped my wings and the wind blew, only making it colder. "Sorry, not quite in control with these wings yet." I said as I tried to make them stop flapping.

Someone was close. I could hear voices in the darkness, finally getting a sense of direction. Three? Two? I wasn't sure how many there were. I could hear a faint rustling behind me. It couldn't be my companion...could it? I pulled out my dagger again, ready to strike, only to find that the silvery blade glowed, softly as the moon, lighting up the area. I could see my companion now, and I was sure that it wast anything else. "Who are you?" I whispered. "You can't hide it forever. Just say it..." Watching her expression change from a thoughtful smile to a solid, unreadable slate was neither pleasing nor unpleasant. So softly, hardly loud enough for me to make out the word, she whispered: "Azure." Suddenly, rain started pouring from the sky, a torrential rainstorm. Seconds later, lightning began to flash, horribly close. "Run!" I screamed. I sprinted for cover, but as doing so, I tripped on a rock. I didn't know whether I ever got anywhere, blindly stumbling through the rain. So long as I was alive, nothing else mattered.

I follow my companion silently until we hear voices among the shadows.

As i stood under a tree. I caught the word 'letter'. Excitedly, I wondered whether they had received it too...

The voices started talking about a letter. Wait, a letter? Did they get one too? I took out my own letter from my pocket, and unfolded it. I nudged my companion who did the same. Perhaps we should work to get her after all. But I still didn't know her name. I pointed to her with a questioning look, hoping that she'll understand what I mean.

"Yes...I did." I hoped she could see me clearly enough in the dim light. Parting the branches of the tree, I could feel the stares of the three girls hiding behind them.

I heard more foot steps and noises. Coughing slightly I called out "Who's there?" I mentally smacked myself for sounding so stupid. I tried to get a little closer when I tripped over a rock? A branch? In the darkness I couldn't really tell. Half a scream escaped my mouth before I closed it keeping it in. Seconds later I found myself on the floor, with dust slowly settling. I looked up to find two dark figures, standing there. "great impression" I muttered to myself before looking back up and smiling slightly.

I was looking around when it started pouring down rain. "Athena! Lets go!" I shouted, once she started flieing towards me, I took off, I needed to find shelter. After almost running into three girls, one strangely familer, I found a hut. When I went in there, there was a bow with a sheath full of arrows, only hung by a rope. "Interesting.." I said to myself. I took the sheath and slung it over in the middle of my wings, with the sheath there I was still able to fly. I had to figure out what to do with the bow, because there was nowhere else to put it.

Calamity stroked Dylluan softly on his soft head, "It's okay. You can hide under here..." Calamity didn't know if the violent rain was bothering a dead owl at all, but she tucked him quietly underneath a large tree. They were sitting just outside of the forest she had come from, so there was lots of shelter. She ducked quietly back into the tree with Dylluan and watched the action silently unfold between the other girls.
