"Ok, so you want to know my name? It's Abelina, it's Hewbrew, and it stands for "breath of life". And Emerald? Such a pretty name, quite like the gem..." I said becoming frustrated. "Look, how about we play it safe, and be allies. I mean, if someone goes bezerk on us, I've got this." I said as I held up my bow and arrows.

I nodded at her comment and added "Well I have this." I grabbed my dagger and tossed it into the air, grabbing the handle once it came back down.

The girl with wings claims her name to be Abelina and then proposes we all be allies. I suppose we could. And if I have to I can ditch them later.
I nod, then hold out my sword. My ally holds out her dagger and says her name is Ember Myst. Then she introduces me. I watch awkwardly while this happens. As much as I want to, I can't comment without the fear of a tree falling on us all. Then the girl with the owl introduces herself as Calamity.
And here, allies are formed. This is probably just the beginning.

Everyone introduces themselves and holds out their weapons. I look around taking in who's who. I nod mentally as I turn my head to a different "Ally"

Calamity watches silently as everyone introduces themselves. Another girl, who introduced themselves as "Emerald" suddenly takes sight of Calamity. She looks at her mysteriously, and calamity realized that she was the only one who hadn't introduced themselves at all.
'Um... I'm Calamity, by the way." Everyone's heads turned to stare at her. "And... this is Dylluan." She whispered, stroking the soft feathers of her dead owl companion.

"Dylluan....is it Greek? It sounds strangely Greek..Calamity does too. But such a lovely name." I put my sheath full of arrows and my bow back over my wings. "Allies...." I whispered to myself.

The answer popped out of no where, "No. Dylluan is Welsh. It means "owl" in Welsh."
Calamity gasped and covered her hand with her mouth. She had completely said the subconsciously and had no idea how she new that. "That... was weird." She whispered.
The one thing she did know was that "calamity" was an English word that meant 'disaster". Calamity sure hoped she wouldn't live up to her name.

"That's cool I guess" I spoke slowly. Everyone seemed tense and the sky was dark apart from a few stars. I yawned and spoke softly "I feel tired" I don't know why I told them this but it felt like the right thing to do.

Calamity nodded slowly. "I think we should rest. We can save the world tomorrow." She lay her head down on the bed of leaves covering the forest floor. She stroked Dylluan. Being an owl, he didn't fall asleep and instead became even more alert, being Calamity's own watch-dog. Or watch-owl...

The words "Save the world" made me scoff again. Calamity made this all sound like a superhero game. I don't know about them but I'm no superhero and I'll never be. To cover up my scoff and coughed and nodded. "G'night" I whispered as I lay down on a rock and used a pile of leaves as a pillow. It was uncomfortable but being outdoors with no possessions apart from my dagger this was the best I could do.
I lay there with my eyes open, staring at the stars above me. When did this even happen? I was in my bedroom one moment, then out in a run down village the next. The stars glittered in the navy sky as the wind brushed against my arms and neck, making my hair flow a little. My eyes started to feel heavy and slowly they shut.

"I agree" I said as I layed down on the cold ground. I covered my arms with one of my wings and the other as my pillow. I kept my aim locked, just in case I needed to shoot quickly. Athena perched on a rotted branch above me. I quickly fell asleep, the sound of the wind soothing.

What was this? Some kind of stupid game the others were playing? I'd co-operated just to find someone and hope for help...but saving the world? A little extreme if you asked me. Of course, it seemed like Abelina and Calamity had put themselves in charge. Oh well...I stayed up as the others fell asleep. I guess that if I really needed to, I'd have no problem escaping. Forget about caring for my so-called 'team'. I really only cared about my own safety right now.

Wait what? Save the..,what?! Oh dear. What have I signed up to now. I am now starting to get second thoughts on whether or not I made the right choice allying with these girls. Especially Abelina and Calamity. It's just like their kind of character and personality to appoint themselves as leaders. Emerald probably just went along with this whole thing because she's probably more of the follower type. And Ember? She's probably just somewhere in between. But me? No. I will not put up with this childish fantasy of theirs. I can survive on my own. I can break things with my voice and probably do other things with it too. Oh and I also have a long sword which doesn't seem too hard to use. I mean, what's the difference between fencing and using a sword? I used to take fencing and didn't fail too badly.
Also, what is there to save? There's nobody else out here. Just the five of us and a large forrest. Perhaps I should just ditch the group. Maybe I'll just wait till tonight when everybody else is asleep. Yeah, run fom these people. Maybe find some others who might've gotten the same letter. Rebuild the world with them. That's our mission, right? REBUILD the world, not save it.

Honestly? I really felt like there was nothing to save. I mean, what's to save of a world that's been destroyed? The wording of Calamity's sentence was strange...unless they'd discovered something...good or bad, I didn't need to know.

The wind became a little rougher, startling me. My eyes opened in a flash and my body jerked as I felt a cold gust of wind hit against me. I tilted my head up slightly and looked around. Calamity and Abelina were asleep where as Ember and Azure were still awake. I yawned quietly placing my head back onto the rock. Today's events still confused me. A tear trickled down my cheek due to the yawn. I quickly brushed it off with my sleeve hoping no one would think I'd been crying. My eyes began to feel heavy again and the wind had settled down a bit so I decided I would go back to sleep and evaluate everything in the morning.
