Forum name: Ember Myst Character name: Melissa (but likes to be called Bliss) Blackthorne (14 yrs old) Character appearance: Long dark hair, usually just over her shoulders and down her back, dark blue eyes that don't look like they're supposed to look like that, milky-white skin - a bit too pale and too dark in all the wrong places, so no, not horribly pretty. Wears a pale blue frilled top and black leggings. Personality (no self inserts please): Smart and overconfident sometimes. Sometimes thinks she knows everything and becomes arragant. Usually quite argumentative, tries to find EVRY loophole, yet not quite a troublemaker. Can sit down and work for ages if necessary, but prefers to just ignore a lesson and learn it on her own. Holds grudges, and really isn't sympathetic. A 'I don't care about you right now, do it yourself' kind of person. Annoyed easily, and provoked even more easily. Does stupid things when she is angry or provoked. Role playing style (script, first person etc.): First person Skill set (no two are the same - so no copying!): Wisdom/Intelligence- mostly the sneaky, intelligent part than the wise part. Slight bit of background: honestly, not one of those poor characters. Actually a bit on the opposite side. Her parents have connections with the rulers of the land, but this often leaves her own her own in the house. Often feels abandoned, but never lonely. Found out the hard way that she's only a designer, not a maker. Only introduced to 'proper' people, which he hates, prefers to make her own friends...and her own enemies. Likes to think 'I can do it better'. Hard on herself, and overreacts. Not exactly sociable or friendly either. Character appearance: Dark hair that is short and slightly damaged because it's always caught on fire, tanned skin with a few scars. Average height. Might post a picture to go with this later.
Personality: Very curious, to the point that she is nosy. A serious perfectionist. Often collects random stuff she finds to build(which often don't work out)Has a fragile ego, more of a follower, not very athletic. Has an open mind.
Roleplaying style: First person, I guess.
Slight bit of background: She has all these random connections ranging from thieves to a foreign royal family. She grew up in a normal family in which her parents are both merchants. Adesina has had a fascination with Ivilan for a long time.
Skill set: Invention/creativity

Fatal flaw: Perfectionist, very very sensitive. Also not as athletic as others.

Character appearance: Dark wavy hair which is usually in a bun as she gets warm easily. Slightly tanned and has many bruises and cuts from working. Quite muscular
Personality: Works hard and is determined to get what she wants. Resilient. Is usually serious and is annoyed if people mess around.

Background: Being born into a poor family, she's grown up learning how to work. She mostly enjoys working however she sometimes wishes she would find a way out of it.

Forum name: Little Comet/admin Character name: Leonard (Leo) Hale Character appearance: Dark hair and green eyes. Olive skin. Is wearing a baggy shirt that barely fits his small frame, a cloth necklace and old pants.  Personality (no self inserts please): He is childish, with that slight arrogance that every kid has. Being only 12, he is younger than most of the other kids but refuses to be bossed around. He is very outspoken and loud. A complete trouble maker. Adorable in his own weird little ways... Role playing style (script, first person etc.): first person (I know I normally use third person, but being the only one is getting kind of annoying) Skill set (no two are the same - so no copying!): Arrogance is a skill. As Muhammed Ali said, "Humble people, I've found, don't get very far." Slight bit of background: His parents were both scholars who traveled the world together, teaching people wisdom and intelligence. Sadly, their wisdom was not passed down to their youngest son, Leo. Leo is a wild child and refuses to listen to their words of wisdom. His parents were quite wealthy but not greedy. Greed was something that was looked down upon in the Hale family. Leo hid his arrogance from his parents so they believed he was a perfect child but was NOT. Friend of ( can edit and complete later after people have joined): I don't know. I was thinking someone could be his older sister... Preferred weapon: A stave-which is a long stick that ninjas use. Leo likes to pretend he is a real ninja and do karate kicks on everyone. Fatal flaw: Very arrogant-sometimes too arrogant. He can get so passionate about not wanting to do something he can mess up a whole plan.

I've entered 17 for my character's age because I cannot picture children going on adventures like these. And also, to be realistic little kids wouldn't be inventing stuff like my character will attempt to do.
Why am I being so OCD about this? Am I becoming Adesina Lirelle?

Character appearance: Large green eyes, 'bottle' nose, squarish head, light brown shoulder length hair. 'Average' sized, with pale skin and a little muscular.
Personality (no self inserts please): Sort of stupid (correction: REALLY stupid) and easily tricked, usually disliked by other people and friends.

Skill set (no two are the same - so no copying!): Naturally vicious and ugly
Slight bit of background: High class parents who abandoned her when she was really young because she was too stupid and ugly. Then hid in alleyway behind toilet and stole food from random people then scared them by being so ugly.
