In my opinion, no ones perfect. I mean, it's really highly unlikely that you will ever meet someone that's had such a TRAUMATIC ANGST-FILLED past and then suddenly develops amazing powers, escapes, and has everyone fall in love with them.
Think about it.

Real life examples of Mary Sues? Definitely not. Even if you feel like someone has no flaws, you will find them once you know them long enough.
And yeah. You're not gonna find any half elf half wizard half fairy half vampire half football half balrog half lion half fox(yes, that many halves. Doesn't make sense, I know) kind of creature living on Earth unless there's something we don't know. And certainly nobody laments about their TRAUMATIC ANGST-FILLED past that much. And those are just some traits that pop up in Mary Sues.
