After the world war era, your country had a long civil war; a cultural revolution lasting almost 19 years. There were two sides; the government and the rebellion. During those times, they needed 'recruits' for battle so they would go out and look for young children. Regardless of gender, if they are able to, they kidnap children who were around age 3 or younger and raise them as a soldier of their own. Why that young? Because they know that children have no recollection of their lives from before they are four or five.
Now fast forward to ten years after the civil war which the rebellion side won. Your country has now been declared a free country and everything that happened during those years is forgiven. You are now long out of the services of your old army and you now try to find your place within your community. You have no memory of your life before the army because for as long as you can remember, you have been a soldier of either the Government or the Rebels. But you develop curiosity for your biological family as the years go on so you decide to look for information about your real parents and you plan to reunite with them. Maybe they've been the family owning that stall in the market, or maybe your long lost sister is actually the local school teacher, or maybe your family members didn't make it through the war and that news will shatter you. But whether you find out or not, that's for you, as the roleplayer, to decide.
Aside from that, even though the civil war is long over, a few veterans have gathered and decided that they are unhappy with what has become of the country. They decide to rebel against the current government, recreating the terror that started several decades ago. They go around trying to spread the word, looking for recruits. And again, whether you end up joining them or not, that's also up to you.
Okay. Rules.
1. This is set in the times where fancy technology is limited. Not even all the upper class members of society can afford a phone so please, do not just say you did research on your iPad 6 or flip through the Yellow Pages and looked up your surname and found your family in three seconds flat.
2. You shouldn't even be flipping through Yellow Pages and telephoning the family with the same surname as you because you have most likely been given a different name and shouldn't even remember your real name.
3. You were taken during toddlerhood so obviously you wouldn't remember what your parents looked like or who they were. You remember nothing outside of life in military. You were told you are an orphan.
4. If you're going to use a weapon, your best chance is with a simple gun. Early war technology, remember?
5. Please no fantasy involved in this. People, you're not going to travel back in time via the TARDIS to see who your family were. You can't just whip out a random Time-turner and go back in time and stop yourself from being taken. You do not have some weird mind control power that can help you defeat the new rebels. COME ON.
6. Your name is not Ashlina Kitty Beautybella Estel Dictionariel Orion Stellastar Bloooom Twilightrainbowdash Beiber because ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
7. No you are not a long lost daughter of King What's-his-face. You also weren't the princess of the universe in you past life. Seriously, backgrounds like that practically scream Mary Sue. Speaking of which...
8.
Self explanatory, I hope.
9. Use grammar. Nobody can read this: "LOoolzz!112!!! Maj nam IZ EboBY D7rkne5s DemenTI6 Ravn wAYYyyy!!111!1"
