Hey guys, so this is my first roleplay so it might not be good but let's give it a go yay! The PlotThere's a summer camp which has been created for teenagers you are exceptionally good at a certain task. It was created to help them enhance their skills at that task to help them in the future or for a career etc. So your parents send you there in hope that not only you will become better at the task you're really good at but you may also learn new things along the way from the other children. This summer camp is a little different. It's like a laid back school. However you still have 4 lessons a day each lasting an hour. The rest of the time you can do activities which they have set up, socialise, stay in your room and relax or whatever. The first week you're there everything is normal but one day you wake up to see all the supervisors have gone along with your electronics and other ways of communication. All the doors and windows are locked and there is no way you can escape until all the TV's turn on. You see on of your supervisors and this is what she says: "Ah hello children you probably already know this but you're trapped however there is one way to escape, starting tomorrow you'll have a new task everyday. You will have 6 hours to complete this task using the skills you have and obtained in the first week. If you pass at the end of the task you will find an object that will help you with your great escape but if you fail you will be one object short and you will be punished. Good Luck. (That was a kinda long plot) --------------------------------- Rules- This is set in the modern day so you may have phones and ipods etc. but when the day arrives that you're locked in you no longer have them
- Again since this is in the modern day you may use slang but don't go over the top
- Swearing is allowed but don't use it excessively. Use it when you need to.
- No Mary Sues
- You may only be really good at one thing
- All other things you'll be averagely good at apart from one which you'll be really bad at to keep it balanced
- Most of all have fun
-------------------------------- NoteThe "thing" you're good at is something ordinary like a sport or a subject or a hobby. That goes the same for what you're bad at. Please try and have different things you're good at to keep variety plus there are endless possibilities to choose from so be creative. Also I don't have a name for the summer camp yet so if you have any suggestions put them in your entry at the end (I'll put a thing for it) and then I'll create a poll if more than one name is suggested. An Entries thread should emerge soon after this is posted. Hopefully this makes sense and I hope you guys join

So the roleplay begins. It'll start with the day you leave to go the the Summer Camp. Have fun I guess.
I finished packing my bag and started to make my way downstairs. "Have fun honey!" Mum hugged me tight before handing me their brochure. Everything was big and bold and the name of the summer camp was apparently "Summer Fun & Games" Wow, I thought to myself, they seem extremely desperate. "Remember to work hard, you're a smart girl but you can become even smarter with this programme!" Mum slightly bounced up and down before kissing my forehead. "Your father and I are proud of you." I nodded slightly smiling before taking my suitcase and dragging it out the door. I sighed, Summer Fun & Games? Yeah like this is really going to be fun. Though if it does help me out I guess it's worth it.

"Have fun!" How normal of my mum to say something like that. I pulled the brochure out of my bag and read it through. It hardly had any information, just pictures of people having 'fun'. Not exactly encouraging. Everything seemed to bright and fake. How could I believe it at all? "Yes, Mum." I sighed, just hoping that I didn't sound too bored, though it was highly likely that I did. Well, even though I hadn't been able to talk my way out of going, at least I'd been allowed to bring my phone and laptop. I dragged my suitcase to the door and got into the car, instantly pulling out my phone and starting to listen to some music. I didn't want to talk, not now. What was there to talk about anyway? I gave a quick wave to my mum and didn't even look back as we drove away.

I grabbed my polka dotted suitcase and almost ran to the front door. "Be careful!" My mom said. "Don't worry! I'll be okay!" The camp sounded okay, it looked bright and fun, I hoped that I'd enjoy it. I'd hardly brought anything, just some essential items, clothing and my phone, which I doubted I'd use. Just then, I dropped the flashlight that I was holding. My mom sighed and said, "Do try not to be so clumsy, Roxanne, dear." I have a wry smile and got into the back seat of the cherry red car. I laid back on the seat, as if I was going to fall asleep. I could, though. It was, what, a four hour journey there? I stroked the smooth velvet patch of the bright orange t-shirt I was wearing and re-read the brochure. Summer Fun and Games. I hoped that the camp would live up to its name.

"Oh my little star, have fun!" My mom screamed. I hugged her and grabbed my hot pink suitcase. I also grabbed my pink phone that I'd decorated with pictures of 1D (they're so awesome!). I brushed my long red hair and headed into the car with my dad. I literally threw my suit are in and hopped into the front seat, taking with me a bright red heart-shaped bag. "Hey is it ok if I bring some money too? You know just invade?" "Oh sure dear that's ok." I grabbed my burgundy wallet and sipped it into my bag where no one could take it. I changed the radio station from classical (which my dad liked) to pop, which was like wayyyyyy better! "Hey dad, like my new drawing?" I pulled out a drawing of a cartoon girl with bright pink hair and he said "oh that's lovely." Without really looking, but I guess that's ok. He was driving. I didn't like the sound of. This camp or rather I didn't like the whole change. It was already a 2 hour journey and come on that is a long way. I just didn't like change!

I hopped into the car, humming a song, I didn't know it, but I knew how it sounded. My dad, Derrick, was ithe front driving. I sat in the back, quiet.y reading the brochure. It looked fun, that was for sure. But anything would be better than having to relive the first 4 or 5 years of my life. Mind you, now my life's pretty good and I'm happy with it

I packed my black suitcase and headed for the door, where my mum was waiting for me in the car. "Coming!" I shouted, slamming the door and half running over. "Sweetie, you'll have fun. Have a rest before you go, won't you?" I slept for a short while in the car before starting to stare out of the window. I didn't like talking, it made me feel carsick. I so badly wanted to read, but I knew that there would probably be plenty of time for that at the camp. It all looked so...bright. The camp, that is. I hoped that It would be fun. Maybe I'd even make some friends.

I headed outside with my family to the car, me dragging my black and white suitcase along. "Bye!" I shouted to my mum, and hopped into the front seat, reclining it as far as it could go. My dad smiled at me, and I smiled back. "Ready?" "Ready as anything." I smiled. "So now d'you think the camp'll be like?" I stared at him with my huge blue eyes. "Seriously, dad? I mean, it's gonna be fun, no matter what!" "Sure, darl. Know what you're gonna be doing?" "I hope it's not to do with writing, you know my imagination." "Yeah. Just remember:" "Yes, I know. Variety is the spice of life". I sighed.

I walkedout of my room, wearing my 'Tainted Royalty' outfit. It was a pretty epic outfit, all totally extreme. Alright, so that wasn't how royals looked, but it was a joke. Still, my mum almost had a fit when she saw it. "WHat is everyone else going to think?!" she muttered. But I didn't care. There was nothing like a few ghost stories while I was wearing my vampire costume to make people enjoy the nights. "Don't worry, Mum, I'll be fine!" I went out of the door and into the silver car that my mum owned. I'd never follow in her footsteps though: she was so professional and neat, and I was just...dramatic. Maybe my dad appreciated that, but I hardly saw him after the divorce. As I got into the car, my mum got in, too, and started to drive. I pulled out the brochure from the little velvet bag I'd taken, holding it in my hand that had a really oversized ring. 'Summer Fun and Games - I hoped it was.

After 4 hours of driving we had finally arrived. The Summer Camp seemed to be in the middle of nowhere but it looked very eye catching, with the colourful bricks and Summer Fun and Games being painted in yellow. It was massive though. It looked like it was about 3 storeys high and it was pretty wide too. Dad and I walked up to what looked like the main entrance since to see two women and a man. The man and one of the women looked about 24 while the other woman looked like she was in her early 30s. The older looking woman smiled brightly as she saw me and dad get closer.
"Welcome to Summer Fun and Games. May I have your name?" Her eyes gleamed with excitement. Yeah they seem desperate.
"Rachel Bruce" I replied. The younger woman looked down at what seemed to be the register and I guess she ticked my name off.
"I'm Monica." The older woman said. "That's Julie" she pointed to the younger woman. "And that is Mark."
I nodded slightly as Monica just spoke to Dad about some details which I didn't really care to listen to.
"Would you like to come inside?" Julie asked kindly. I nodded pulling my suitcase in. She lead me into a large room and offered me a seat. "Thanks" I said calmly before sitting down. Julie then returned back the way she came from, probably to welcome anyone else who is coming.

It had been a long trip, but I felt that I'd had more than enough rest already. I'd absentmindedly doodled and written in my notebook, and re-read the notes my mother had written about 'how to make friends'. Friends were so difficult to make. Enemies, however, seemed much easier. We pulled up the the Summer Camp's 'carpark', which was no more than a small patch of grass that had been squashed by numerous cars driving over it. To the side, there were two women and one man, greeting a young girl with long brown hair. I waited for them to finish before coming out, dragging an ice-blue suitcase after me. "Oh, welcome! And who might you be?" Very cheery, very ,ugh overexcited and possibly desperate. Mind you, at least their voices matched how the camp looked. A little bit too gaudy and garish for my liking. "Eleanora Faustian. And you are?" "Oh, I'm Monica. There's Julie," she gave me a quick wave and ticked sometimes, probably my name, on her clipboard which probably held a register of some kind, "and that's Mark just over there." I nodded just to show that 'yes, I get it' and allowed Monica and my dad to discuss some final details. At last, she asked, "Wanna go inside then?" "Sure." I said nonchalantly. She led me into a fairly spacious room with some chairs in it, gave me a quick wave and went outside again, probably to welcome even more people. There was another girl already in there, the one that I had seen being greeted before, but I decided not to talk, not yet. I didn't want to make friends, then discover that they had 'other' people they'd rather be with. I took out my notebook again and started to do a few more random doodles.

We were now in front of the camp, which looked pretty cool with all the brute colors and everything. "Hey!" A young woman caled to us. "Here for the camp?" "Yeah, sure! I'm Johanna Starcliff, and that's my dad" "Oh, Mr. Starcliff, I'm sure that you daughter will enjoy the camp! I'm Julie, that's Mon, and that's Mark!" They talked about useless stuff for a bit then... "Sweetie, you've got a nice name - could you just ad it to the roll? I don't think you're on it..." I wrote it in my prettiest swirliest handwriting and said "that good?" "Yes, it's PERFECT, Jo! Cam I call you that?" "Yeah, sure, but Star"s ok too, you know!" "Ok, come in, see ya later!" I entered a big room probably an entrance hall.

We went there, and I got out, but the three instructors beckoned mum to come out too. "Hey, I'm Roxanne Jones." "And I'm her mother, Lorraine Jones. I think I've got all the details sorted..." She bit her lip and handed a sheaf of papers to the instructor. "well, I'm Monica, that's Julie and that's Mark over there." "Oh sure, hope I'll remember those names!" "i hope you do. They're pretty important!" I managed to smile just a little before I was ushered into a large waiting room style hall. I guess that I'd just read and wait for the others to come.

After a while some more girls walked in and sat down on the seats. I sat up slightly feeling a little uncomfortable with people around. I looked around at the others and caught some awkward glances but apart from that no one really did anything. One girl began reading and another started doodling so I decided I would listen to some music. I sighed slightly remembering we would probably have to do one of those introduction days.

OMG this already started?!? Oops back too late I guess, wasn't allowed to go online much while on the trip...having too much fun anyway. I literally jumped into the car bursting with excitement. This was going to be so much fun! But even so, there was nothin like a 4 hour road trip to make even me feel bored and tired. When we got there, there were some quick introductions. "Hey, I'm Olivia Hadley.' Was the only thing that I managed to say before getting pushed into another room. A lot of people were already there, and soon the instructor came in and said: "Hey guys, talk a bit! It's ok, you'll have to get to know each other anyway, come on, don't be shy!"
