Hello to everybody, Ember here with (yet another) roleplay. Technically, this idea was thought up by SpeingBreeze, we had a bit of a PM'd conversation and this was the result. We'll keep updating on the 'parts', just so the storyline is a little easier to grasp, and with any luck, this will work out. So, I'm pretty sure that I've mentioned in there something about your 'season' - here's what they're like. All Faeries are born into a human family and only found out later. Your season depends on when you were born. Also, in your season, you have a 'blossom' - a huge wing-like flower that grows out of your back - and one of your greatest problems.
SPRING: has the ability to entice people, convince them to do their bidding. Usually sentries for a portal to the Realm since their magic allows them to draw strangers away and their magic is rather defensive.
SUMMER: the classic 'fairy' type of thing - flashy and bright, then can render themselves invisible using a 'shimmer' and can also create light and fireworks - but be warned, their magic is extremely uncontrollable and could explode out of them at any moment even if they're just thinking about using it.
AUTUMN: autumn, or fall, Faeries are classically the ones that are best for healing and regrowth. Autumn Faeries usually specialize in creating elixirs and poisons, mixing and making, though their overall enchantment skill isn't high, their ability to do alchemy-like things is.
WINTER: Silent yet dangerous. Their magic is more like what you'd expect necromancy to be like, and they cannot heal, only attack or freeze. Their magic is strong, but if untrained, probably the most harmful of all. Some say that their greatest ability is to keep a secret.
So with all that out of the way, here come the rules.
1. Your name is not Twilitbeauty Grace Edwarda Marium Lilith Mirandian. You do not have two seasons. You do not make your self perfect. In other words, you ARE NOT A MARY SUE.
2. Try to make your character match their season. For example, Autumn might suggest fire, so there's one suggestion for you. Also, make their skills relevant. For example, Spring Faeries may be good at winning arguments or peacemaking though they do not know that their enticing skills.
3. This is set in modern times, so just imagine that in the Faerie realm, they use the same or similar technology, though magic is relied on quite a bit (Thanks to SpringBreeze for this idea - not trying to turn his into a second Hogwarts style realm).
4. Don't try to write in a seriously elaborate way, I really don't want this roleplay to end up with people trying to mimic Shakespeare's writing. I mean, as well as that simply not making sense, this roleplay is set in the near-ish future, and so will probably include modern slang etc. You get the idea, i hope. And also, this is unacceptable: h3y guy5 1 w45 ju57. I mean, I cannot read that. I can't. Please understand that...oh and this is also unacceptable: my name is liek Christlbet and im liek the prttiest prsn in teh wrld!!!!!!1!!!!!!1!!111!!111!@!
5. Your skills are painfully limited. Got that? The end.
6. If you'd like to be related to another character in any way, please tell them first and ask for permission. Same goes for if you want to kill another character.
So with all that being said, entries in the entries thread as usual and here's a note from SpringBreeze.
"Hey guyz, Bree here and I'm looking forward to this roleplay! I mean, there ar e quite a few, but I quite like it and I'm hoping that maybe I can just join in a few...lol loving how I then create a few billion rps! Anyway have fun with this one, Ember and me'll give weekly updates depending on how far we've got and PM us if you don't 'get' anything! THANKS!"
