WARNING: ROLEPLAY WILL NOT START FOR A LONG TIME
The Aftermath.
It's cold. Dark. Dystopian.
The future.
In a world where wars were common and conflict part of everyday life, who expected it all to end so abruptly with no warning whatsoever? Yet the impossible has happened. It is not peace. It is complete destruction. Death is now common, from injuries, plague, even sadness was a possible illness at this point. The only reason you survived was because you were on a rather remote location monitored by only one satellite. It's almost what people would consider paradise. And yet, it's like the rest of the world, minus the wars. But even so, it's filled with high rise buildings and a population larger than what it's supposed to be. You are lucky to have an education and be able to even walk. However, instead of thinking about how fortunate you were, you want to escape, too see the rest of the world for what it actually is.
And, of course, stop what you would know as the enemy. Adriana Grey: the leader, and also the enemy. She has ruled, dictated, for many years, and now the world is lost to everyone but her. This was her crazy scheme to take over and start again. Of course, nothing is that simple. And there's only one way to stop her. Legend has it that she is a creature of myths, that has powers beyond belief. And the only way to stop her is to find the jewels that she seals her power, her soul in. And destroy them. Of course, how easy is this, you ask? Not very. You take only a couple of people and tell no one that you are leaving. No one.
It's your adventure now, and it's up to you, the roleplayer, to take up your role in the story now.
Ok, the fun's over, here comes the bit that I'm sure you've all been waiting for: the rules!
1. NO MARY SUES. Does this even merit explanation?
2. You do not have a special power e.g. Be half fairy and cast spells or have the ability to control the elements etc. In this roleplay, it's only the enemy that has the powers, which makes it a lot harder, doesn't it? Like I did for the QFI roleplay, you have one skill or talent combination. Please refer to that roleplay for more information.
3. Your family is up to you to decide, but please do not make them OCs and get them overly involved, since this roleplay is generally for your characters not their families. If you want to be related to someone, please PM them and me first just to make sure that it's ok.
4. Please, please avoid falling in love too much. I mean, I'd say that it's almost ok, but then again, I don't want OCs too much, and clear it with me if you absolutely have to and think that it will have a huge impact on the storyline.
5. Do not make yourself ridiculously lucky, everyone gets hurt, gets injured at some point. Do not portray yourself as being perfect. See rule 1.
6. Refer to rule 1
7. Refer to rule 6
8. Refer to rule 7
9. Refer to rule 8
10. Don't read this rule.
Okay, so enter in the entries thread and have fun!
Oh and btw this is almost a redeux of QFI and hopefully with more members it's harder to die...but aboveground and in modern times should be a bit easier to do. Let's also say that you were blessed with a certain skill - either keep this the same or change it, I mean, I'm keeping mine but I don't mind what you do. You can sort of redo your character, make them keep some of their original characteristics and everything. Sorry, but I actually enjoyed that roleplay and this is not a redo just a revival sort of thing and admittedly, this time tell me about how active you are so we'll know whether we should control your character a bit or not.
EDIT: You may have one power or a super ability. Refer to the SFFR rules for information
