I turned around to see the air suddenly getting way more dense then it should. The whole world behind me was rippling in waves and growing darker. I started to run faster, afraid the darkness would swallow me up. Up ahead, Abelina was running ahead, shooting arrows into the air aimlessly. I wondered if she could see the dense air and rippling waves behind me. Suddenly, in a moment in which I wished wasn't real, Abelina smacked into a tree and was out cold. I started to scream something, what, I don't know. I finally reached her. She wasn't breathing that well. The air was getting darker and darker and denser and denser and it was coming closer and closer, like whatever it was was approaching. I couldn't leave Abelina here or she would die. If I stayed here with her, I would die too. I did the only thing I could think of. I picked her up, slung her over my shoulder, and kept running.

I woke up slightly before the black smoke had gotten me. I muttered something. My head was hurting. "Calamity!" I shouted. "WHERE ARE YOU?" Thinking I was still in the dream I struggled trying to fly away. Something hit my cheek, a branch I presume. I thought something was carrying me, something like the figure Calamity was talking about. I squirmed so much as I attempted to fly I fell off of Calamity's shoulder. I opened my eyes and looked behind me. The smoke, the smoke in my dream. I got up and started flying. I held my hand out. "Calamity! Take my hand!"

To my relief, Abelina woke up. She must have been having a very traumatic dream because she attempted to fly away from me. She must have thought I was the evil spirit. I must have looked kind of like it too, I was wearing all black. Abelina got her act together and started to fly. "Grab my hand!" She cried, reachign out ot me. I grabbed on, holding on for dear life, Dylluan flapping his wings as hard as he could in front of us, guiding us kind of. I turned to see the rest of the world behind us completely swallowed up in pure blackness. It was trying to turn even blacker but couldn't. The ripples were like full fledged ocean waves. It was gaining speed, but so were we. I momentarily thought about the others... where were they? Were we going in the right direction? Had they been swallowed up by this evil spirit of darkness?

I flew above the trees, the darkness didn't go any higher then the trees. I found a tall pine tree. I stopped there giving Calamity a lift so she could sit on two branches close together, which makes it harder to fall off. I sat on the branch across from her. "What about the others?" I asked.

I perched on the branch, overlooking the darkness sweeping across the land. "What about the others?" The question rang inside my head like a terrible omen. Had they been swallowed by this blackness? Were they safe? Had something or someone else saved them? I wished we were all together so I knew each one was safe. I knew it sounded OCD, but I was really worried. How could we accomplish anything if half the group were dead and lost? I wasn't doubting that me and Abelina were capable of a lot, but I new that this "M" guy had chosen all of us for a reason. All of our powers put together could rebuild the world and fight this evil spirit. Not just two of us.
Abelina looked at me, worriedly. I realized that I had taken way too long to answer her question. "We need to find them." I said decidedly.

"H-h-how? The entire forest is covered in blackness, we don't know if that blackness could kill us. And I'm not sure that angels can't die! I can die! I almost died!" I said out of breath frightened.

"That blackness can kill ME, that's for sure!" I suddenly realized that this was impossible. We would have to just hope that they had rescued themselves. Or hope that Abelina had a better idea than me.

"I......don't feel so good." I said. I passed out hanging off the branch like a rag doll, and I had that same dream again. I was surrounded by black smoke. Nothing happened, it was just dark. But then I heard muffled screams and someone screamed help. It sounded like Calamity but there was nothing I could do to help. I was stuck, in the smoke.

Suddenly Abelina passed out on the branch. "Oh my-" I started to say when suddenly I felt a weird force grab me, like invisible hands covering my mouth so I couldn't breath. I choked and screamed something inaudible. I turned to see the darkness, blacker than ever, engulfing us. I screamed again, my throat going hoarse, until all I could see was darkness.

I woke up from the sound of a scream. My dream had come true. I gasped. Was I controlling my dreams? Was I making them real? I couldn't move. Suddenly something took over me. "AZERATH METRIO ZINTHOHS!" I shouted. I didn't know what that was but it got rid of the darkness long enough that I could get Calamity and I out of there. I grabbed her arm and flew away.
(Ok I think we should stop now, so we don't get too far ahead...)

Where were they? I'd already started heading towards the ruins, hoping that Emerald would get everyone else. But there was something about that forest that was so...so menacing. I created the shape of an E floating in midair, creating a backdrop of bushes and trees to disguise it. All I could hope for was that they saw it and came. Really now, where WAS everyone? I sighed impatiently and continued forward, oblivious to whatever was happening.

Where is everyone? I kept running, in search of my allies, if I could call them that. I kept running until I reached the forest. From the distance a shape of an E rose into the atmosphere, then disguised by a backdrop of trees and bushes. Was this a trap? What if there was an actual enemy out here? Oh enough of that. Sometimes I am glad that none of us can read minds. I'd hate for the others to think of me as a very trustworthy kind of person because I know I'm not. I do not wish to be seen as a worrier either. Still holding my sword I ran towards it, which lead me to the ruins. Standing on a rock, I vaguely made out the silhouette of...Ember?

I saw a cloud shaped like an E floating from the woods. "Ember? Or Emerald?" I didn't care who it was, there were people down there. I flew down there, absent mindedly forgetting about Calamity. I pulled out my bow in case it was a trap. When I got down there it was Ember and some other girl who's name I couldn't remember.

I started running, as I heard voices. I looked up to the sky to see a cloud shaped like an E float silently above my head. I sighed and carried on, putting it and the back of my mind. I finally found people. Standing on a rock was Ember and beside me I saw Abeilna and Azure. I sighed in relief thinking we were all back together when I remembered the girl with the Owl.
I whipped around to Abelina "Where's Calamity?"
