Excuse me Laura but How? If you read our posts we say countless times we're not trying to be mean. So please explain since you're being rather vague.

In my opinion, Sue/Stu are the worst.
Why? Very simple. They aren't interesting.
No one wants to read a story where the person is so perfect that the only troubles they have are external problems. People like to hear stories of troubles and how they overcome them. Even the greatest stories ever told have the greatest flaws. Odysseus, was a man with great intellect and strength. One of his greatest flaws was curiosity... which lead him into more trouble than he needed.
One of my favorite flaws in characters is being too stubborn. (Like a few people I've met in my life.) They have been so stubborn that they just end up being hated by everyone... but of course, they don't notice it until it's too late. ~~~~~~ I actually like receiving feedback (even in the form of criticism.) It allows me to evaluate and see what I can improve on. I always have a hard time with writing and criticism is the best way for me to learn and improve. I hate always receiving positive feedback only.

Laura, if you quit, I don't think any of us care.
Not to be insulting, of course...

Alright, so getting back on topic...I'm writing this other story, and I've got four character names. Which ones do you like/dislike? Caterina Dahmer Faye Aldaines Julian Lockwood Avander Blake I haven't planned each character yet, I might post descriptions, etc., when I do.

I think they're all quite good to be honest

@evelyn: They are very unique names. Like Misha said, they are all good. For some reason, Faye Aldaines and Julian Lockwood seem to "pop" to me.
@trixie: What exactly is your definition of stupid? Because I assure you, I could find a definition and examples to counter.

Why is it in slang all words which were first created to be bad e.g. Stupid, Wicked, Sick mean things like Amazing and terrific.

Don't ask. English is starting to get a bit messed up.
